Record lifecycle events

Placed on the market, in use, repaired, second life and recycled.

A passport follows the battery for its whole life. Add an event when something happens: the battery is sold, repaired, repurposed, remanufactured or recycled. You can add a state of health and cycle count with each event.

Events are chained together: each one includes a fingerprint (hash) of the one before it. If anyone changed an old entry, the chain would no longer match. Corrections are added as new events; the history is never rewritten.

Verified repairers and recyclers can record events themselves with the workshop scanner.
