Create a product model
The passport template for one battery type. Every passport of that model inherits its data.
A product model holds the data that is the same for every unit: category, chemistry, voltage, capacity, weight, power, expected lifetime, materials, take-back and safety information.
- 1Open Product models and choose New product model.
- 2Follow the steps: identity, ratings, materials and end of life.
- 3Check the live passport preview on the right.
- 4Publish the model, or save it as a draft and finish it later.
Only published models can be used for batches. A draft is a safe place for a model you are still checking.
Sustainability data
Each model card has a Sustainability button. Add the carbon footprint per kWh, recycled content for cobalt, lithium, nickel and lead, renewable content and a link to your due diligence report. Filled-in values replace the “awaiting EU rules” notes on every passport of that model.
